My struggle with breastfeeding.

Not really struggling, tapi mungkin kerana kurang ilmu, hence I am struggling to breastfeed Aishah right now.

My milk production kira so-so lah, tak macam orang lain yang over supply, sekali pam boleh dapat 10 oz ke atas. I can only get 3-4 oz per pumping session, and if I'm lucky enough I can get 5 oz per pumping session from both b which happens only once in a blue moon.

Even before Aishah lahir, I am so determine to breastfeed her. Susu ibu adalah terbaik dan no 1. No one and nothing can deny that fact. Not to forget, how proud I feel to say, Yes..I breastfeed my baby. Though Aishah is now on FM too, I will always pump at work everyday to make sure that she will still have my milk when I'm at work. Since I can only pump twice at the office with average 3-4 oz per session, I still need to topup with FM for her daily feed. Malam is our mother-daughter bonding time, jadi selalu akan direct feed je.

So what I have learn so far? Nak kata terror tak lah..ramai lagi yang hebat dalam ilmu penyusuan ni. This is just some knowledge that I want to share.

First thing is determination. Kalau takde kesungguhan, memang awal2 lagi dah surrender. Masa hari pertama Aishah lahir, nurse bawak baby masuk bilik untuk disusukan. Nurse akan check sama ada susu dah terhasil atau tak. Time tu nurse akan picit2 lah nipple kita ni. For first time mom, selalunya susu akan keluar pada hari ke-3 dan keatas. So, apa yang mencabarnya ialah, adakah kita sanggup untuk tengok anak kita menangis sebab lapar?. Masa tu dengkel ilmu, tak sampai hati, jadi awal2 lagi dah introduce formula, dengan anggapan, "oh, my baby is crying because she is not having enough milk from me..." which is totally a wrong. Susu yang ada tu actually cukup untuk tampung keperluan baby. Masa awal kelahiran, perut baby cuma sebesar biji guli je!

Next, is to be prepare. Gadget2 untuk mengepam...don't hesitate to invest on a good pump. Ada yang manual, ada yang electric/battery operated, ada yang single, ada yang double..so tepuk poket tanya selera. Hehehe.

Start to make EBM stock dari dalam pantang lagi. This is my biggest mistake ever!. Again, kerana perasaan kalau pump nanti baby tak cukup susu...so disebabkan itu saya tidak mengepam ketika dalam pantang. Kecuali masa Aishah kene masuk ward sbb jaundice. Time tu memang pam untuk bawak ke hospital. Sebenarnye lagi kerap pum, lagi banyak susu. Supply & demand concept.

Be mentally and physically prepare. Honestly hanya si ibu je bersungguh untuk menyusukan anak secara exclusive. Si bapak, si makcik, si sedara mara akan risau anak tak cukup makan. Hence, the introduction of FM. Orang2 sekeliling pun akan bising2, "jangan ajar sangat anak menetek je, nanti nak tinggalkan susah!" bila anak nangis, oh..sebab dia lapar...sebab tak cukup susu...sedih woo..tapi time tu I don't have a strong answer to counter them...so senyum and pasrah je la. Bukan setakat mental, fizikal pun akan tercabar. Awal2 memang sakit...pedih, time anak menyusu tu lagiiiii la sakit, tapi kene sabar. Sakit pinggang? Tahan ajelah. Tidur malam sampai basah2 baju & katil. (ruginya tak pam) tapi masa tu, time malam la untuk berehat. I chose to sleep, than to pump. My bad!

Milk booster. You name it, semua pun dah cuba. Tapi hasil takat tu je. Milo, Horlick, Longan, Kurma Merah, Kurma tak Merah, Shaklee, air masak bergelen2, sayur lobak putih, daun kuchai, air soya + kurma..ape yang tak try? semua dah try..power pumping je tak buat sebab malas. Haha.

Hmmm..I failed to exclusively breastfeed Aishah, maybe untuk adik2 (eh) dapatlah exclusive breastfeed hendaknye. InsyaAllah.

Growth Spurts

Alhamdulillah..

My cranky and grumpy baby is back to normal! She is actually going through growth spurts moment. Orang melayu cakap berubah bulan.

Weird when Aishah is acting different for the past few weeks. She became more cranky and fussy. Pantang silap langkah mesti nak nangis. The most horror moment when she cried inconsolably. Pening dan tension mama and abah dibuatnye especially during late evening (maghrib). Tengok jam dah dekat pukul 7, mula la rasa berdebar-debar. Bukak Astro Oasis, dengarkan zikir dekat dia. Once dah start nangis, memang dia akan nangis bersungguh2. Kesian sangat tengok, tapi memang tak boleh nak dipujuk, sua la susu etc..dia bo layan je..terus menangis sampai tertido. Pity my lil baby!

At first I thought she is having colic, kalau orang melayu cakap sawan tangis. Tapi yang peliknye sawan tangis akan stop pada usia bayi 3 bulan. Lagipun Aishah cry not more than an hour. Baby sawan tangis boleh nangis dari maghrib sampai isya'. Tapi Aishah masuk 3 bulan baru nak start nangis? Hmm...

Kemudian, dah start fikir yang Aishah 'saw' something. Hahaha. Orang cakap ada bende ikut balik la, macam2. So everytime lepas balik kerja, I will make sure akan bagi salam sebelum masuk, basuh kaki dan muka, baru pergi greet Aishah. First thing that I will said is 'Assalamualaikum Aishah'

Kakak yang jaga Aishah notice that she drink a lot more than usual, and after doing some research, I believe that she is going through growth spurts phase.

Selain dari tu, I think one of the reason Aishah dah okey, sebab kitorg bagi Gripe Water. One of my friend suggest to give gripe water supaya baby kurang nangis. Masa time tu Aishah tak kuat nangis, so tak kisah la sangat..tapi sejak dia dah pandai nangis ni, we consider this option. It is actually a traditional remedy for colicky baby. Tak semestinya untuk kembung, boleh jugak untuk ketidakselesaan perut.

The confinement misery.

What can i say about my confinement period other than misery. I cant seem to enjoy every part of it. I hate every single thing about it. Tak boleh makan itu, tak boleh minum ini, kene pakai itu, kene duduk begini, i cannot even on my laptop, I was online using my phone all the time. I was in full distress!..

It was so difficult to adjust into the new 'environment'. There is no more 'ME' time. I have a baby to attend, 24/7! By the end of the day, I am all tired already. Frustrated when the baby doesn't want to sleep and wanted to be hold almost everytime. My back was killing me, due to the epidural. My nipple hurt and it hurt even more when I breastfeed Aishah. Don't even talk about waking up at night.

I broke down one day when Aishah refuse to sleep. Thankfully I have my husband and my family to console me. Taking care a baby is so demanding. 44 days sounds to long for me. It wasn't easy to be a first time mom. I almost thought that I had the postpartum depression. Well, maybe a small degree of it. I was lucky coz Aishah doesn't cry alot during that time. Ehek..ehek..manja je..

But Alhamdulillah, now everything is different. Aishah is bigger now..though she become more cranky nowdays, i believe it is just a phase and it will pass. Her bedtime routine has also improve a lot since pantang. She only woke up 2-3 times for feed and she will fall back to sleep after each feed. (good baby!)

Sesungguhnya syurga itu dibawah telapak kaki ibu, and now I understand why it is said so.

Hari tu janji nak cerita pengalaman melahirkan Aishah Zahra. So here it goes. One of the most memorable experience in mylife. Takkan boleh lupa sampai bila-bila. Alhamdulillah everything went well for us.

Since dah masuk 9 bulan, routine checkup need to be done every week until delivery day. A week before I gave birth to Aishah, Dr Kham cakap my BP (blood pressure) reading was quite high. I was not feeling anything weird pun..so tak sangka la BP reading tinggi, end up kene pergi check BP tiap2 hari...penat ok pergi klinik tiap2 malam untuk check BP.

The next visit to Dr Kham, dia still tak puas hati with my BP reading, and masa dia scan dan tekan2 perut masa checkup, Dr Kham cakap baby position was quite high. Tapi memang ramai orang cakap my bump tak nampak turun, walaupun time tu dah 38w pregnant. I was quite disappointed knowing that baby is still high, and looking at my BP reading, Dr Kham insist me to go into labor (induce) on 10th October 2011 which is my actual due date. There is possibility that baby tak turun if being induce sbb baby tinggi which can lead to emergency c-sect.

Masa tu dah berserah, normal delivery or operation, tak kisahla as long both of us selamat. At the same time I keep on talking to my baby, please keluar before 10/10...mama tanak kene induce...

8th October 2011, the chronology.

3:50 a.m : Masa ni terjaga malam..memang time dah hujung2 ni kerap terjaga malam to pee, tp kali ni lain, rasa macam nak buang air besar, tp hasilnye takdelah sangat...ada la kot dalam 3 kali pergi toilet. Hati dah rasa tak sedap sebab dah start rasa macam period pain, tp still mild aje..boleh tahan lagi, bisik dalam hati pagi esok aje lah bagi tau Tfk.

8:00 a.m : I told Tfk rasa macam tak sedap hati, macam dah rasa contraction tapi tak sure. Unfortunately Tfk kene pegi kerja pagi tu sebab ada DR activity. Dengan confidentnya I told him, takpe, pegi je keje dulu, tengok sampai tengah hari ni cemana......tapi Tfk terus je balik lepas dia bg tau my condition to one of his colleague..."bini kau dah nak beranak tu"....

9:35 a.m : Check in dekat annur, bidan bersalin pun perform VE. FYI, VE tak sakit, just relax and jangan fikir sangat...Masa tu I'm already 2cm dilated...terus kene admit. So this is it....today is the day.

10:30 a.m : Masuk ward, Orchid room 4. Nice place, nice room..agak besar jugak. Bayar pun mahal kan, kalau tak comfy tak berbaloi la..

12:30 p.m : I'm already 3cm dilated. Bidan cakap untuk anak first maybe lambat utk bukak 10cm. 1cm=1hour..so kene la tunggu dalam 10jam? At this point of time my contraction is getting closer. Dr suruh keep track of baby movement, tapi time2 sakit ni dah tak boleh nak concentrate...tak boleh nak fokus. Tapi still mantain muka cool. hehehe.

1:49 p.m : In law sampai..solat zohor but still in pain. Masih bertahan, cuma muka je dah ketat sikit. hehe.

4:00 p.m : Dr Kham perform another VE and I'm already 4cm dilated, nurse masukkan ubat utk yak2...later off to the labor room.

6:30 p.m : My 4th VE and already 5cm dilated.

7:30 p.m : Dr Kham pecahkan air ketuban, I'm already 6cm at this time.........masa ni lah sakit yang betul2 sakit bermula.

Starting from that point memang dah betul2 hilang fokus, tidur salah, tak tidur salah, doa nabi yunus pun dah tunggang langgang bacanya. Bidan cakap maybe dalam pukul 11 lebih baru bersalin..I'm like what???? sakit time tu...tuhan saje yang tahu.

At 8cm I told Tfk that I can't stand the pain anymore, suruh dia panggil bidan, then datang sorang makcik bidan ni, dia tolong percepatkan bukaan tu. Masa tu la dia ajar cara untuk push yang betul. Saat palang nak letak kaki tu dipasang memang cuak, tapi time tu nak cepat2 proses bersalin ni habis coz I couldn't stand the pain anymore.

Finally at 9:29p.m, after 5 push and a cheer from all the bidan, Aishah Zahra selamat dilahirkan ke dunia. Fuhhh lega!

My husband and my family has been my strength through this labor experience. Alhamdulillah semua selamat.

Finally i got the time to blog.

Sejak dua menjak menjadi mama ni, masa adalah terhad, nak online pun guna handphone je. But right now, baby Icha dah tidur. What? Who? Sape Icha? My intention to call my darling baby as Zahra nampaknye akan terkubur la..itu hanyalah nama komersial di facebook sebab semua orang panggil Aishah Zahra as Aishah. Maka jadilah Icha or Cha..

So how's my life so far? Totally changed! Part jaga malam tu paling tak tahan. Kalau ada luck Cha bangun kejap untuk nen then terus tidur...kalau takde ong, nak tidurkan pun susah, lepastu dah tutup mata pun still buat aksi2 wacha kaki tangan bersilat. Dah banyak kali saiko anak sendiri cakap.."Cha, cha budak baik kan...nanti mama dah kerja Cha bangun nen pastu tidur balik tau...mama ngn abah nak kerja..." hahaha...Cha and nen memang bestfriend, sampai merajuk tanak minum guna botol, I have to buy another bottle so that she will drink my ebm through bottle. Nasib baik berjaya, now I'm using MAM. Rugi je la mama beli set Avent dulu, tapi rasa nak buat tektik baru, guna teat MAM tapi bottle Avent, tp tak try lagi. Hopefully sesuai la.. Ok dah merapu.

Next week dah start masuk kerja, tak taulah macam mana Cha bila kat rumah nanti. For sure i'm going to miss her so much. Hopefully Cha tak merajuk / meragam. Nak ulang alik Cyber-Cheras jauh oii, tak larat la nk balik time lunch hour, nak berenti kerja jadi full time housewife pun tak mampu lagi..so Cha kene baik2 ye duduk rumah.

InsyaAllah on next entry I will blog about the birth experience. Tunggu dah masuk kerja la, ada masa sikit nk menaip dan mengarang cerita.

Monday Blues – Hospital Bag.

Semakin hari semakin malas nk pergi office. It’s a 40++ minutes journey from Cheras to Cyberjaya. My request to work from home was not approved by the team lead. *sooo saddd*. Seriously I just can’t wait for 38weeks so that I can request MC from my doctor. I wish I am at home now. Now at 37weeks, my baby is considered as a full term baby. *high five baby! We made it!* means that I can give birth at anytime now. My husband was so nervous, and it’s really funny when he said “abah cemas baby..”... the baby need to get out anyway, it is just a matter of time now.

I cannot lie, that I am super duper excited and anxious to meet my baby too. Dah tak sabar dah ni.

Hospital bag is ready, tinggal nk bawak masuk dalam kereta je. Kalau googled memang boleh jumpa lots of hospital checklist, but here are my version of checklist. Bawak yang perlu je..

I’m in no mood to do my work, despite the long queue ofrequest that need to be completed by today. I shall update about my Raya celebration and updates on my pregnancy.Lagi lagi best!.

So this year is my first time celebrating Hari Raya as awife. First time celebrating it at my husband’s kampung. It’s a 2 hour journeyfrom Cheras to Peringgit (Melaka). Awkward. I slept on half of thejourney. I thought there will be lesstraffic on raya morning, but I was wrong. It was bumper to bumper along Serembanhighway. Lucky I’m not the one who’s driving. We went back to Cheras the nextmorning and I already miss my kampung so much by that time. Both of us sakitperut on the 2^nd day of raya. Tahan sakit perut along the journey,and I refuse to membuang at a petrol station coz I can’t squad anymore. Kangada yang terberanak nanti. But as soon as I arrived home, I rush to the toiletand let it all go. Sangat puas hati! Haha. No mood of taking any picture as I havesuccessfully blossom (eceh) to be a very debab lady. Muka dah bulat. Perut punmakin bulat!.

Baby have turn 35weeks young this week. She is in head downposition, ready to conquer the world. Tunggu until mummy Finaz kawin ok littleprincess? Anytime lepas tu you can come out to see the world, coz both mama andabah can’t wait to meet you too. You have been a good girl, coz, you neverreally give me any trouble throughout the journey. Cuma lately mama selalusakit2 pinggang and jalan pun dah mengah2. I guess its normal sbb you havegrown so well inside me. You weigh at 2.6kg now and your face look even morechubbier every time we see you during our routine checkup. I’m pretty sure youhave your abah’s nose, and I hope you have his dimple too! Oh you know whatbaby, Doc Kham said you are one healthy baby, she is so happy with ourprogress.

I don’t mind having the back pain, I don’t mind havingrestless night, I don’t mind getting fat, I don’t mind the hideous stretchmarks…coz I love you so much!...

Ps: its freaking me out thinking about labor…huhu…

Senyum Kambing.

8 bulan. Tak terasa masa berlalu. Tak sabar jugak nak jumpa my lil princess. As of now, ada beberapa perkara yang diamalkan. Oh gosh! Tak start lagi minum air zam-zam (tepuk dahi).

My dad is one caring and loving person. In fact sometimes he still treats me like a little child. Jadi untuk menyambut kelahiran cucu no 2 ni, abah telah menyediakan susu kambing fresh for me. Katanya elok untuk mengelakkan baby terkena jaundice.

Ada orang kata, ibu yang berdarah O lebih berisiko tinggi untuk anaknya terkena jaundice. My blood type is O +ve. Prevention is better than cure right, so since I entered my 7+ month of pregnancy, I have started to drink goat milk. Rasanya memang macam kambing. Huhu. But to make everyone happy, I will try my best to finish the milk. My dad will do some inspection, and called me asking whether I have finish drinking the milk so that he can stock up with more milk!.

Dah nak masuk hari ke 12 baru lah nak wish kan?

Bukan ape..bz dengan kerja. *haha* Bulan puasa ni ada privilege balik awal, kalau punch in pukul 7.30a.m, pukul 3.30p.m dah boleh balik. Hehe.. Hence, sangat la gigih menyiapkan kerja supaya dapat balik awal. Sempat la tidur sekejap, lepas tu bangun balik and prepare makanan for berbuka. Dulu puasa as single, sekarang dah double, tanggungjawap tu dah jadi lain sikit. Ecewah!

Berpuasa dalam keadaan mengandung tidaklah menjadi masalah. Tapi kalaulah masih dalam 1^st trimester, rasanya memang tak larat kot nk puasa. Ikut badan masing2. Kalau larat teruskan, kalau tak larat, berbuka je..tp jangan lupa ganti balik ye.

Sekarang dah 31w, almost nak masuk 8 bulan!. Yikes. Hopefully sempat tunggu sampai Inaz kahwin, which is after 38w. insyaAllah..hopefully baby girl dapat message yang mama dia sampaikan ni. Hehe. So far everything has been so good. MGTT test pun negative. Alhamdulillah. Baby is doing fine, berat dah 1.7kg, kepala baby pun dah kebawah. Hobi masa lapang sekarang ni is watching my wobbling belly. Seronok..kekiri, kekanan, I wonder whether that is her legs ke, bum ke…kalau dia tak gerak, I will shake my belly (just to make sure she’ll respond back..takut ok kalau baby tak gerak) Baby is active during morning and evening. As per doc Kham advised, dalam sehari baby mesti gerak at least 10 kali. Jadi lets count! (no, i dont really count pun..tp rasanya cukup 10 kali, and rasanya memang lebih dari 10 kali sehari baby gerak)

Oh...i am super excited to meet you little princess! tp tunggu sampai full term ye? I love you baby! hehe.

The final trimester.

Woot! woot!

Alhamdulillah..third trimester already. Time flies like nobody business. Panic attact belum sampai lagi. But I'm feeling heavier now. Kalau ada lagi yang cakap "hey..perut you kecik la.." tu memang nk kena la. As long as my baby is healthy..tak kisah la kecik atau besar. I only accept opinion from my doctor.

I did a detail scan during my last checkup. Excited, and nervous at the same time. Baby is doing just fine inside me. Organ dalaman semuanya takde masalah. Uri dan air ketuban pun ok. Hopefully it will continue for the next few months, and hopefully I can deliver our junior normally. But I do prepare mentally, financially, and physically for all possible scenario. Baby is now 1.3kg, and I gain another 1.6kg!

Since I gain quite much during my pregnancy, Dr Kham suggest me to take the glucose test, to detect whether I have the possibility of high level of sugar in my blood. Finger cross, I hope I'm free from diabetes since there is no history in my family of diabetes. Darah tinggi tu adalah.

Preparation banyak ke baby, less on me. I mean, for the confinement part. Bila orang tanya nanti nak pakai set ape lepas bersalin? memang tak tau nak jawap ape. I'm totally clueless!..Pilis, param, barut, ingatkan baby je nak berbarut kan? tp maknye pun kene la berbarut.

Baby bag? Mommy bag? Also need to sort out on this one as well. 28weeks, rasanya by 35weeks boleh la kot ready2 kan?

I’m all bloated, 6 months pregnant, never been this heavy in my entire life. Doc Kham is not really happy with the weight gaining progress. To be honest, I eat like how I use to before I’m pregnant. Well….maybe I ate more ice-creams and cakes now. Blame the weather, you see how hot it is outside?

I envy those pregnant ladies who can still look hot, who still look not pregnant from the back. I have a colleague that still looking fabulous at 7 months pregnant. I on the other hand, am looking so fatbulous. Takpelah, mengandung anak lelaki & anak perempuan tak sama. Pujuk hati sendiri.

Thank God, I barely had the foot cramps, kadang2 je tersalah stretch sampai jadi cramp. My feet are not bloated yet. I can still squat, tapi takde lah selalu. I can still get out of the bed without help. I can still walk to the car even though mengah. I can still drive, I don’t have any weird cravings, I just don’t want to pamper myself just because I’m pregnant. Tak pernah lagi MC atas alasan ‘mengandung’. Cuma hari tu ada demam yang melayakkan dapat MC 2 hari. Good baby, hopefully when you are born, you will be a good baby too!..jangan susahkan mama & abah okey (cewah...) We are strong in our own way.

I have no problem being fat, coz I know, it is for a good reason (sedapkan hati lagi). Like my friend said, be proud instead. I'm entering my 26th week, memang tak sabar nak tunggu sampai lahir. No doubt, memang menakutkan, but all mothers have to go through the birth experience kan?

To friends who are still waiting and trying to be parents, don't worry too much ok? It doesn't make you any less better as a person. Pray and hopefully your prayer will be answered.

My little precious

Went for 3d/4d scan last Saturday. Alhamdulillah, I can see my baby in 3d for the first time, selalu scan 2d je. The best time to do a 3d scan is from 24 weeks and above. Masa scan ni, baby baru 23+ weeks..

Again, doctor Kham has confirmed, that the gender is XX. :)

Syukur semuanya selamat setakat ni...Alhamdulillah..

On other note, a big congratulations to my dearest friend on her newborn baby girl, Sorfina Bt Zuhailey..nanti jumpa time raya ok! She's so adorable and sweet, I can get diabetes la just to look at Sorfina's face. hehe.

Pregnancy Woes

Bila tengok ticker kat tepi tu rasa macam tercepat seminggu je. I’m actullay still in my 23^rd weeks, tapi tak tau kenapa dah jadi 24 weeks. Coming this far, of course I have experienced myself some of the common pregnancy woes. At first, I really hope that I will fall under the lucky mummy categories that will never or at least experience just a mild morning sickness. Boy, I was wrong! So here are my list of pregnancy woes in random order:

Morning sickness – mine is more to anytime sickness. Tak semestinya pagi, boleh jadi tengah hari, petang or malam. I really can’t stand the smell of nasi lemak. I opt for nasi kerabu instead. Lebih berkhasiat dan menyihatkan ;). Minyak cap kapak sentiasa dalam handbag. At one point, I feel very2 depressed…susahnya mengandung ni. Huhu..but Alhamdulillah, it all gone when I entered my 3^rd month of pregnancy. Weehuu!

Heartburn – Atau pedih hulu hati. Also one of the symptoms that hit me during my early pregnancy. Time tu memang tak boleh lambat makan. Sakit menyucuk2. Time bawak kereta tengah jem pun dia boleh attack. I’ll keep at least pack of biscuit at my desk. Rupa2nya kalau kena pedih hulu hati ni, kene elakkan makanan yang pedas & berempah. Tapi masa time tu la asyik nak makan roti canai & kari. Hehehe..

Weight gain – ni toksah explain panjang la. Ada ke ibu mengandung yang menjadi semakin kurang berat badan? I know, I’m not the type yang slim and slender even before mengandung pun…tp, takut jadi macam datin norjuma ke, bunga citra lestari ke..kalau kaya boleh la sign up kat mana2 slimming centre lepas tu…guess I’ll have to do a strict pantang lepas ni. But I keep on reminding myself that I am pregnant, so its ok to be fat. Hahahaha..

Wardrobe malfunction – rentetan dari weight gain issue. Duduk depan almari, tenungggg baju2 yang ada. Pakai, bukak balik…pakai…sangkut kat lengan, sangkut kat bonbon..so depressing!

Pembawakan budak – haha..ok2 actually tak tau nak explain macam mana, tp badan naik macam gatal2 yang tak gatal. Seriously tak tau nak explain macam mana…tapi kalau cerita kat orang, respon yang selalu diterima ialah – pembawakan budak tu…nanti lepas bersalin hilang la…

Round ligament pain – yang ni google sendiri. Sakitnya adalah tidak boleh diexplain dengan kata2. Mcm sengal2 gitu di area bawah perut, belum tanya dengan doctor lagi sama ada bahaya atau tak. Will ask her on my next checkup. Hopefully nothing serious. Bila sakit sangat tu, maka berjalan pun seperti penguin sedikit. Tapi kalau tak sakit, memang laju je jalan. ;)

Constipation – huhuhu..perkara yang paling menakutkan. Kalau boleh hari2 nak makan buah. Common fruit that I eat is honeydew. Tu yang paling banyak jual kat cyberjaya ni. Sangat2 merisaukan everytime I want to membuang. Will definitely consult with my doctor about this too. *risau*

Ok, I think so far, that is all. Kalau tak leh tidur nyenyak tu perkara biasa, but so far tak la sampai jadi zombie ke esokan harinya. Will be meeting our junior again next week. Tengok kat monitor dulu la… J

Kerabu Mangga

My team held a portluck lunch last friday. Fikir2 ape la yang senang, yet nampak special to bring. Something that require less cooking skill. Not that I don't want to cook, tp the idea of waking up early in the morning just to cook something for the team doesn't sound very 'nice' to me...haha..dasar pemalas! Finally I decided to make kerabu mangga.

The night before, we went to econsave to buy mangga muda. The recipe is very simple and sempoi!

Ingredients:

Mangga Muda - Dimayang halus

Cili Merah - Dihiris halus

Bawang Besar - Dihiris halus

Udang kering - Direndang and tumbuk

Sedikit garam

Gula.

You just need to mix all the ingredients above in a bowl and wallah! you have Kerabu Mangga. Sukatan tu ikut sedap rasa je.

How the baby movements feel like? How can I know that I’m not just imagining things? How can I tell it for sure? The term for it is called quickening.

Approaching 20 weeks, most of the question will be…."dah rasa ke baby gerak2?"…Honestly, I can’t be sure whether it is what I think it is. This experience is totally new for me. I just don’t really know for sure. However, I do feel something poking me gently from the inside. I notice it since a few days ago and it become more obvious later. Usually I feel it when I’m lying down, and when I’m relaxed. I was very excited the first time I felt it! It somewhat giving me a relief knowing that my baby is doing fine inside me. Some pregnant women notice the kicking sensation as early as 17 weeks. I’m already on my 21^st week by the time I felt it. :)

Keje dah siap, mari buat sesi luahan hati.

Semua in bullet point, tak payah nak elaborate panjang2. Lagipun lebih senang nak baca.

Lately, cepat terasa. Hormon ke? nak kata pms nak period, takkan kot.
Sangat tak suka bila orang komen kat fb, 'mengandung ni sakit perbuatan orang' tah ape2. Seriously, i cannot get you.
Masih lagi mensampah dengan orang yang saje nk bagitau diorang peknen, pastu nak sibuk2 kat page orang lain bagi tau dia peknen. Ada perbezaan antara obses, berlagak, biasa2 dan just plain happy... Ok maybe saya je yang obses dengan mereka.
Selalu sampai office lambat, sebab mesti leka nak main dengan Harith dulu sebelum pegi keje. Akibatnye parking banyak dah full.
Lelaki memang nak anak lelaki, perempuan memang nak anak peremuan. Kalau dapat anak lelaki macam mana? Kalau perempuan macam mana?
Kain baju kurung semua dah tak muat. Macam mana nak pegi kenduri? Dah la bulan 6 ni bulan orang kawin.
Selera makan makin mencanak naik, doktor dah cakap kene naik sekilo je next checkup, camne ni baby, kita kene berkerjasa dalam hal ni.
Kene lebih berdisiplin minum susu tiap2 malam.
Takdela nak jadi mengada-ngada, tapi rasanya musim mengidam dah sampai. Nak makan nasi goreng letup dengan air pink panther kat murni please. Tah bila la nak dapatnye. Rendang limpa dah dapat.
Baru2 ni je orang2 kat ofis perasan that im pregnant. Before ni memang sah nampk buncit je instead of pregnant.

Bulan puasa dah dekat, puasa tak habis ganti lagi, bulan rejab nanti mari kita ganti puasa beramai-ramai.

Normally the sex of the baby can be known at 20 weeks pregnancy or earlier. Since I did my routine checkup once a month, we can only know the gender at 20 weeks of pregnancy. Tak sangka dah masuk 5 bulan. Syukur. I cannot lie. I am really excited to do my routine checkup coz that is the only time I can see my little one. Masa scan tu, I can see my baby moves. Though the baby is actively moving inside, I’m still not sure the real ‘kicking’ feeling.

I gain 3kg’s during my last checkup! Dulu risau tak naik berat, sekarang risau terlebih naik berat. Tak sedap hati woo. Takut kene diabetes, kalau kene, confirm kene c-sect nanti. T_T. Doc Kham said, pregnant mother cannot diet, but must eat in moderate amount, kalau lapar makan buah, tapi junk food itu kan lebih menggiurkan..Camno tu?

Kasut ada bantal.

That is just a phrase created by Tfk. Last few weeks both of us went for shoe hunting. Tfk wanted to replace his work shoe, sbb tapak kat dalam dah hancus, and as for me, I just need something comfortable to wear. Jalan punya jalan, masuk kedai Hush Puppies, Tfk saw this one shoes, with very reasonable price. Senangnye jadi lelaki kan, grab je terus kasut tu tanpa fikir panjang. Me on the other hand, pusing2 la dalam kedai tu, ambik satu kasut, pusing tengok harga….pastu letak balik, ambik, tengok harga, letak balik…Uuu..mahalnye la kasut yang sedap sedap ni kan. Kalau kat vincci tu dah boleh dapat empat pasang tu.

The next morning lepas keje, Tfk said to me..”kasut tu best b, rasa macam jalan atas bantal!”. He was so excited about the bantal feeling that he insists me to try the shoe. Siap cakap still baru lagi, kasut tu tak busuk lagi. Haha! Okla, to satisfied his request, I went to try it……memang rasa macam pijak bantal ok! lepas ni nak simpan duit gaji la beli kasut bantal ni…

For mommy to be, weekend ni ada baby fair kat midvalley. So sape2 nk survey or beli barang, boleh la kita jumpa kat sana ;)

As for my pregnancy update, so far everything has been so good. No more headaches, no more heartburn. Tapiiii…dah start sengal2 pinggang. Baby bump ramai yang cakap tak besar sangat. Adalah nampak buncit sikit, tp tak buncit banyak. Gemuk je lebih. Haha. Tak kisahla as long the baby inside is growing healthily. Baby has been good so far, takdelah lagi teringin nak makan benda bukan2. In fact, tak rasa mengidam pun. Makan as normal, takde istilah makan for two. But one thing I’m so obsessed about is the growth of my baby inside me. Asyikla dok youtube baby development inside womb. Excited okey.

My morning sickness is not getting any better at 2^nd trimester. I thought it will be over or at lease lesser than the 1^st tri. But then again, not everyone is the same. The headache is just unbearable. Sometimes I just sleep the whole day/night to avoid the pain. I’m visiting the restroom/toilet more often than before. I lost my appetite. I cannot even finish a plate of nasi ayam. I don’t think I’m eating enough for two. Don’t get me wrong baby, I’m not blaming you, or complaining that I have to go through all of this to have you. No wonder syurga di bawah tapak kaki ibu. It’s not easy to carry a child inside you. *insaf*

Though I have to go through all this pain, I am really excited to meet you. Are you going to inherit my gene, or your dad’s gene? Are you going to be a girl or a boy? I’m so excited, I even add up a ticker for you! And you should know that your daddy is as much excited as I am. He just can’t wait to start shopping stuff for you, baby! We’ll try to be the best parent for you and provide the best for you too. insyaAllah.

Now I can understand why some parents are so obsessed with their own child……Who doesn’t?

Ok, saya tau saya merungut kenapa orang lain kecoh sgt pasal pregnancy kat facebook, walhal tak lepas lagi 1^st trimester…oh im still keeping it low kat facebook. Tapi macam ramai je dah tau. Nak buat status saje2 pasal mengandung tu takdelah lagi, Cuma kalau comment2 tu maybe ada yg cam ala-ala dah confess yes, I’m pregnant!.

The way I look at my pregnancy has totally changed since I did my 3^rd checkup. Masa tu doctor scan dan masyaAllah, I can see that there is another person inside my womb!. Perasaan time tu sangat la gumbira. Dah boleh nampak kepala…tangan dan kaki. Plus masa scan tu, baby siap gerak2..geli kot time scan tu. Atau dia sejuk sebab gel yg doctor apply before nk letak benda untuk scan tu.

Tambahan pulak baru lepas dapat anak buah baru, jadi rasa best je tgk baby. Cuma takut memikirkan masa nk melahirkan, dan masa nk mengharungi pantang nanti. Sekarang ni, nak pegang baby pun takut2. Hopefully the skill will come naturally, so takdela awkward sangat nanti.

I actually have tons of questions. Hah.im so clueless! Dunno where to start, I really need a good reading material. Maybe someone can suggest me a good book, or a good site that I can refer. Baru2 ni je start minum susu, itupun paksa-rela coz im worried that im not gaining weight during my last checkup, kang kurus pulak baby tu kan. Hehe. I’m taking obimin and calcium at the moment, ade ke ape2 lagi supplement yang bagus? Let say untuk dapatkan baby yg berkulit cantik ke? Hehe. Anak kakak saya kulit putih & cantik ok! Sangat jeles!

I’m really looking forward for october to come. Pray that everything will be fine. :)

It’s a Boy!

Alhamdulillah, my sister has safely delivered a healthy baby boy last week. It was an anticipating moment for our family. Little Azfar Harith ( tak official lagi ) was born on 24^th March 2011, a couple of weeks earlier than the expected due date.

All of us were tremendously happy with this new bundle of joy, Harith inherit most of my sister’s physical attributes, mata sepet, kulit merah, idung penyet, hehe. I like to say that he looks like Abah the most.

My sister is having her confinement period at my BIL hometown, so takleh nk main2 ngn little Harith. Huhu.

I miss both of them so bad!

Bestnye kalau hujan pagi-pagi kan. Lagi best kalau hujan tu masa pagi hujung minggu. Boleh golek-golek atas katil, tak payah nk kene mandi pagi-pagi untuk pergi kerja. Unfortunately, today is Tuesday, so still kene bangun and prepare for work.

Update so far, hari-hari mesti nak makan roti canai kat kafe tu..tah ape yang sedap sangat air tangan orang yang buat tu sampai jadi addicted macam ni...maybe sebab kuah dal + kuah kari dia yang buat nak makan dan makan lagi.

Secara jujurnya, i am a bit reluctant to update on my pregnancy journey. I have my own reason for that. For some, maybe diorang dah excited, hari-hari mesti nak update kat facebook status pasal pregnancy. Teringin makan itulah, inilah, mual la..pening la...etc..etc..kadang-kadang tu rasa pelik, are they for real? atau nk bagi tau satu dunia that they are pregnant? and if you are really happy with your pregnancy, you should not complain rite? takde rasa sensitive ke untuk kawan-kawan yang tengah cuba sedaya upaya untuk conceive? For me, cukuplah kalau kawan terdekat and family member je tau, plus it is still too early to spread the news at facebook. Entahlah, this is just my two cents. Maybe bila kandungan dah masuk 4 bulan, and my bump memang dah tak boleh sorok, time tu sesuai la kot nk war-warkan kat facebook. Tapi jangan la ingat that i'm not happy with this gift. Tuhan je yang tau my feelings at this moment. Kadang-kadang time mandi still terfikir nak panggil apa nanti? mummy ke? ibu ke? hahaha..itu pun belum decide lagi. Bila tengok anak kawan-kawan, lagi lah bertambah excited, anome, huriya, they are so adorable. Babies have this one smell, yang sangat best. hehe...and of course, every married couple want to have their own family kan, tak kisah la dalam masa terdekat atau masa terjauh.

Ok la, enough rambles for today, kalau ada yang terasa tu, jangan la amik hati ye, this is just my personal opinion. Nak tulis kat facebook kang ramai yang fire balik...so tulis kat blog je la, sbb bukan ramai yang baca pun.

So, we moved into the campus. Finally.

Most of my colleague still prefer the old building. Maybe we still need to adjust ourselves with the new environment. The desk is smaller, the chair is stiffer. It is harder to pick your nose, or make funny faces coz the partition is shorter. Everyone can see everyone else's face clearly.

Cerita tentang Sabah Part 3

I still owe an entry of Sabah.

Betapa malasnye nak update. I'm running out of idea, ape nak tulis? Kalau letak gambar je baik buat tumblr. hehe.

Since my work is done and I still have 2 more hours before I can go home, boleh la nk fikir2kan ayat untuk my final review pasal Sabah.

So on the 3rd day we decided to go to the island. Slalunye orang panggil island hopping. But i'm not too keen on island, snorkeling semua ni. Sebabnye takut sun burn. Hahaha. Seriously! i'm already tan, so tak suka kalau sun burn...huhu. Tapi Tfk sangat excited, so kene la temankan dia snorkeling jugak. We didn't go on island hopping sebab nak relax2 je. We just went to one island only...which is Manukan. Kalau island hopping ada 3 pulau - Manukan, Mamutik and Sapi. Boat ride harga lain, accessories utk snorkeling kene sewa lain, ada tax lagi nak masuk pulau, nanti dah sampai pulau pun kene bayar lagi. so bawak la duit juga ye. Oh ye, lupa nak inform, nak pegi ke pulau2 ni, kene la ke Port Jesselton sebab boat2 semua park kat sini.

The island was beautiful. Kalau pandai berenang boleh la snorkel jauh2 sikit. Mat salleh kat sana selamba je berenang jauh2...macam kitorang yang tak pandai nk swim ni, kat tepi2 tu je la..ikan pun dah lari...nampak pasir je masa swim....boleh la daripada takde.

Lepas dah puas main air, mandi, tukar baju then balik KK semula..tak duduk lama pun kat pulau tu sebab perut sudah lapar. Cabaran bila nak balik sebab ada ramai lagi orang lain nak balik, so macam kene berebut nak naik boat...advise, kalau tanak basah time balik, jangan duduk kat belakang, sebabnye dia mcm lawan arus, so air melambung lebih kuat daripada time nak datang. Nasib baik baju panjang, boleh la tutup air yang kene seluar tu.

Malam sebelum balik kitorang pegi makan seafood kat Gayang, lepas tu sempat la pegi 1 Borneo, the largest shopping centre kat Borneo, tp time tu pun dah malam, sempat singgah dengan snap gambar je, janji dah sampai. hehe.

The next day awal pagi lagi dah balik KL...i was feeling unwell at that time, maybe too much of seafood kot.

The Secret.

It took me some times to reveal the secret. I don't know whether it is a good thing to share it here. I have no other intention except to share the happiness and joy that I have felt for the past few weeks.

Some might have guess it already.

Alhamdulillah, as of today, I am 8 weeks pregnant. Another 32 weeks to go. Phew! that sounds too long for me.

This is definitely something new for me. I was shocked at first. No doubt I want a baby, but this is too soon. Nevertheless, I am grateful for this blessing, considering other people really wanted a baby and have been trying for so many years, and I am lucky to have this lil one as a gift for us to cherish. Rezeki datang dari Allah berbeza-beza, and dear friend(s), your time will come too. InsyaAllah. Just don't lose hope. :)

Please pray that everything will be just fine for me and my baby.

Cerita tentang Sabah Part 2

Wow...

Sungguh lama nak continue dengan part 2 ^.^

Kemalasan melanda...nak cerita pun dah lupa. Been busy with work and FB. haha!

Kalau tak cerita, just upload gambar, kira ok la kan?

Masuk hari kedua, kitorang gerak ke KK balik, journey from Kundasang to KK is about 2 hours. It was nice to enjoy the view of Mt Kinabalu, sangat Hijau. Trip masa pergi cost us RM16/person, tp time balik mahal sikit, RM20/person. So pandai2 la nego dengan driver tu ye. Kalau nak personal trip, they will charge RM150, tapi boleh singgah mana2 tempat yang kita nak.

We stayed at DeLeeton Hotel, right in the middle of KK. Just a walking distance to Pasar Filipina. Kalau nak hotel yang betul2 depan Pasar Filipina is Le Meridian Hotel. Memang keluar hotel dah sampai.

This is Pasar Filipina, tapi from the back view. Tak teringat pulak nak ambik gambar time tu, ni pun just randomly snap. Dekat sinila kalau nak beli pearls, crystal, etc..etc...kene pandai2 la bargain untuk dapatkan harga yang paling best sebab semua orang pun jual benda yang sama, so jalan2 dulu & survey harga before beli apa2 barang.

Pasar malam ni bukak dari pukul 5 macam tu till night. Tak pasti malam tu tutup pukul berapa, tapi masa kitorang tanya, kakak tu cakap dalam pukul 11 dah tutup...Ada banyak seafood, diorang akan display macam dekat gambar ni, kita pilih, kemudian udang/ikan tu akan dibakar balik, dan ditambah sedikit sambal.

Our dinner that night, nampak sikit kan? tapi memang tak larat nak habiskan sebab ada sayap ayam(chicken wing)...chicken wing dekat sana memang klass! Harga untuk sayap ayam RM1.20/seketul. (kalau cakap chicken wing maybe orang sana akan sedikit blur)

rumpai laut...rasa? kene cuba sendiri. hehehe...

Cerita tentang Sabah Part 1

Kalau nak cerita pasal Sabah ni kene buat part by part, sebabnye panjang la sangat nak cerita dalam satu entry. So kita start dengan Day 1 la dulu....

We departed from LCCT around 8.00 am and arrived at KK Airport dalam pukul 10.30 a.m, the journey took about 2 1/2 hours. At the airport, we were greet by Dess, a friend of my BIL. Our plan is to stay 1 night in Kundasang and spend the balance 2 days at KK town...so he took us to a taxi terminal untuk pergi ke Kundasang. Dekat situ boleh nampak banyak unser yang boleh bawak around KK area, cth macam Ranau, Kundasang, Sipitang, etc..etc...Dalam satu unser tu akan dimuatkan 6 orang and bayaran dalam lebih kurang RM 16 - RM 20/ trip..(ikutla orang tu cekik darah ke tak..hehehe...)

Journey from KK to Kundasang is around 2 hours, climbing up the mountain, lebih kurang macam nak pergi Cameron Highland la...half the journey kitorang bukak tingkap je sebab udara kat luar sejuk + segar. Ada orang jual sayur kat tepi2 jalan..sama macam kat cameron jugak...

So we stay at Kinabalu Pine Resort, it was rated as a 2 star resort, tp the place was quite nice. The view was really nice, rasa macam kat oversea! ;)

memang banyak pine kat situ!

The rate for the room differ for standard and deluxe, but for us, the rate is RM180/night including breakfast & dinner. Lunch is on our own. My advise, better eat outside the resort sebab makanan dia memang mahal! like double the normal price...tapi time tu kitorang dah lapar sangat, nasib baik makan dia sedappp.....

Later that day, we walked to the nearest stall yang jual sayur2 tu...suppose kat Kundasang ni dah boleh pergi Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring, tapi kami tak sempat pegi kedua-dua tempat tu.

So petang ke malam tu kitorang just lepak2 dekat resort tu, enjoying the scenery...esoknya pagi2 lagi dah bersiap untuk balik ke KK.....

My eyebrow is a mess. I trimmed it few days before my wedding and the amoi lady did it very thin. I'm really shocked to see my own eyebrow after the trimming process. Nak tunggu kening ni tumbuh dan menebal balik, then nak buat proper threading, coz right now, rasa macam 'rumah tak siap'.

Ok lah, the title don’t really have anything to do with my entry. Just a random sentence that slipped through my mind. Bukan senang nk fikir tajuk untuk every entry. An entry a day equals to how bored I am in the office.

I notice that I’ve become sloppier as I aged. Not that I’m all chick and trendy before, but working in a company that doesn’t require formal attire made me become so boring (yes, its me who is boring, not that i'm bored) and dull. Dulu ada juga la effort nak pakai blusher and eyeliner to work, pakai tudung yang matching dengan baju, heels, peep toe, tapi sekarang semua pun nk yang instant je. Kalau boleh nak pakai je baju yang bangun pagi tu pergi kerja. Hey, ape la nak jadi kan.

Tp sejak dua menjak era Maysaa ni glamour, rasa macam teringin jugak nk try sesuatu yang baru and try to go out from my comfort zone.

Time tengah takde keje ni, memang la rajin nk google macam2. Cari idea untuk style2 baru. But am I bold enough to wear like that? Kita tengok dan lihat je la nanti ye. ;)

As I randomly browsed the internet…i met these beautiful ladies, the way they dressed, the confidence, the poise, inspired me to be more creative and not to worry what other people think of what I wear. hmm..I think it is not the cloth that we wear, it is how confidence we are in that outfit.

Penggal baru 2011 telah bermula dan training dengan team baru pun dah start. It was something new for me. Coding, bukanlah subject yang paling digemari masa blaja dulu. Dengan proper training, rasanye boleh la buat kot...

Talk about new year resolution, of course my every year punya resolution is to slim down a bit. Tapi yang jadi masalahnye, asyik naik turun je berat ni, and at this moment, i'm so so bulat! Macam dah berlawan laki bini perut sape paling besar. Tfk pun dah merungut seluar semua dah ketat. I think its about time for me to take some action..maybe jogging every weekend ke kan? Dulu ada la tanam cita2 sebelum kawin nak jadikan aktiviti hujung minggu utk berjogging dekat tasik Bndr Tun Hussien Onn tu, tp nampaknya cita2 tu macam dah terkubur je. :D

At this point of time, i'm really looking forward for our honeymoon in KK! tak sabar nk pergi ranau and tengok view kaki bukit kinabalu waktu pagi...anyone have any experience in KK? where to stay? i was mesmerized by the pictures taken by Lela when she went to Ranau for her work. Mana ko duduk eh babe? tempat tu best tak? Imagine, waking up in the morning, looking at the green view, with mist around the mountain....aaahhhh....what a bless!

So I’m back to work again.

Feels so alive though I have no work to do. Hikhik.

2010 marks a huge transformation in mylife. Where I finally took the big step to settle down. I always thought that I have a fear in commitment. Yup, it wasn’t easy to make the final call. Alhamdulillah this is the best ‘jodoh’ for me. Got engaged and married on the same year.

I hope 2011 brings out the best of me. I’ve finally moved into the new team. Syukur and praise to Allah coz I really cant stand any longer with my previous leader. Don’t know how the workload is going to be, and how fast I can catch up with the new work but if my friend can do it, so do i. ;) Bonus? Salary review? Harap2 la dapat tahun ni…Amin…

I hope to venture into some business as a side income…nak jugak merasa pakai Gucci… :)

2011 – new house? New car? Haha..macam orang kaya je kan? One at a time..

And please…don’t ask me that silly question will you? Dah ada ke (dengan senyuman sinis)? Gimme a break ok? I will definitely spread the news if i’m carrying a little me inside my womb. Sangat makcik2 ok! Every married woman wants their own children, but its all falls under the hand of Allah. insyaAllah someday, dengan IzinNya. (baru masuk office harini dah ada orang tanya..giloz! tak sampai sebulan pun...) we are not planning anyway..

On other note, Tfk and I become ikea frenzy for the past few weeks. We are moving out from my house (oh im so gonna miss my bed so much!). We bought the lamp, carpet, yada..yada..unfortunately we are out of budget on the sofa bed. Cita2 untuk menghias bilik mestilah mematuhi budget yang ada. Haha. Yang penting keselesaan. :) and nope, we are not renting a house but we are staying with a relative of mine.

Salam Lovelies..

Setelah sekian lama baru la rajin nk update blog.

Alhamdulillah, i am now a wife :D

Still adjusting, nothing much different actually, cuma kene belajar hidup berdua. Keluar berdua, jalan berdua, shopping berdua, buat decision berdua (part ni susah sket) all in all, learning to compromise with each other. Learning to accept his family, ambik hati mertua and ipar duai. Nasib baik diorang semua ok...my stay with in laws pun tak rasa tension sgt.

Lega sangat2 its all over now, takde dah nak pening2 kepala fikirkan about the preparations. The wedding was smooth, walaupun ada la sikit2 tak puas hati...tp redha n pasrah je la.. (will blog about this later)

Fortunately Tfk jenis ringan tulang. In fact, dia lagi rajin mengemas, hehe...time tengah cuti lagi ni rajin la nak prepare breakfast n dinner, tp bila dah start kerja nnt tak taula still rajin lagi ke tak.

Tfk will only be on leave for 7 days. Ok lah considering he’s still new there.

I try as much to stay calm and try not to turn myself in a horrible monster. When I response with an answer like..

“maybe duduk rumah dulu…”

Semua orang jadi risau. Haha! Mana taknye it’s going to happen in less then a week! Gila!

Yeah. I’m really bad at making a decision. Not until the last minute.

So far everything is in order. Lets keep it that way.

Have confirmed with all my vendors. I put 100% trust to them, and I hope they can pull out the best for me. As for abang hafiz, I just hope he can return back the money that I have gave to him. For whatever reason that he did that to me, I forgive him. Yang lain2 tu urusan dia dengan Allah.

Sometimes, I feel like I am all alone in this journey. Like right now. :(

Maybe I put too much expectation on it……..Well, anyway…I should not expect something in return..sepatutnye niat tu kene ikhlas…kan?

I just thought things will be different if mak is still around. I don’t have to worry about the room deco, I can always share my down moment with her. All my worries can just disappear if can hug her.

My room is going to be very basic. No new bed. No new dressing table. No new curtain. Everything is recycle. So no fancy bedroom for me. I can live with that. Ok takpe.

I might not get the wedding dreams that I want, but I just hope that everything run smoothly on that day.

Dear friends, please pray for me that the event is as according to plan.

Kita merancang, Tuhan yang menentukan. cewah!

But its true.

I've done quite a good plan for my wedding. But, due to unforeseen circumstances, I have to re-do my plan again.

Dulu verangan nk pakai dress putih. Then, grey/silver. Now I have to go back to white, however I'm still contemplating whether I should make my own dress. Wah macam banyak duit je kan? But it all come down to self satisfaction. Entahla, bila fikir2 rasa macam menggedik nak buat custom dress. Tp takut menyesal di kemudian hari. So sekarang ni still in doubt sama ada nk buat atau pakai je dress putih tu. Hmmmpssshhh..i'm really bad when it comes to making a decision!. Libra mmg suka duduk atas pagar!

Hantaran pun dah bertambah from 7-9, to 9-11. Now I need to plan again what to give to Tfk, and plan back on my budget, hoho...

Card will be ready by Saturday! Yippiee!! I'm so excited to see the cards, time tu mmg betul2 dah rasa gatal nk kawin tu. hahaha..

Baju nikah pun dah pergi fitting. Hopefully it turns out well. Hari tu Nurul cakap ada lebih kurang 1 inch utk kecikkan. Kurus ke? rasa macam lebih berisi adela. hehe. 1 more month to go, kurus atau tak, it doesn't really matter to me anymore. Janji ada orang sayang! :p

I'm at my lowest point right now.
What ever that I have planned and imagined, is not turning as what I want.
It is a total disappointment.
I try to take it in a different perspective, but sometimes, I just burst into tears.
This is what happen when we put too much of expectation into making the dreams come true.
The world is trying to take me down and I can't do anything much about it.
No tears can solve the problem, but it sure help to ease the pain.
I miss mak so much.
I never stop missing her. Never.
If only she is still here, I still have the strength to move on.

I will get through this, somehow. InsyaAllah.

Tiba2 datang idea untuk pakai bridal headband instead of a crown. Crown dah agak typical kan?

I like something sweet and simple. Baju pun harap2 turn out as what I have imagine.

As time goes by, I learned to forgive and forget. But it was not easy.

I don't really know what i'm feeling rite now.

At one point, i'm happy, carefree, but at the other point i'm like tengok ticker tu..tinggal 2 bulan lebih je tu..

Honestly, it doesn't hit me yet.

I'm not stressed, but it is always hard for me to make a decision. I can't even decide what design I want to do for my nikah outfit. Am I being too much? or is it too simple? I need a second opinion before i make the final decision. I always put myself on the fence, not knowing which one that I want. Ahh..I need to be more firm on my own decision. But it's hard for me to do so.

mula2 nak macam ni..tp takut nnt membazir lace, lepas tu kene tambah pulak kain lain....membazirrr....

pastu nk buat macam ni, tp rasa macam over pulak untuk majlis nikah....over ke?

finally, decide nk buat macam ni....dengan lengan of course! takkan nk tayang ketiak kan..belum lemak2 yg melambai kt lengan tu. hehehe. Hopefully lace yg sedia ada tu cukup untuk buat 3 layer mcm gambar ni.

My bad encounter with LWM.

LWM stands for London Weight Management. Not sure why London. Why not KL? Or Paris…nvm..it doesn’t really matter anyway..

Few years back, when I was still a student, I was so eager to lose weight. I’m more lighter before then I am now. =.=” I passed over the LWM counter, and somehow I won a free treatment with LWM…that was the history how I bump into the whole deal.

Tp entah macam mana, I got a call from LWM recently saying that they have this offer which is quite cheap. I tot, why not kan…mempercepatkan proses utk menguruskan badan. From 10 session, she persuade me to go for 20 session. Somehow I agree with her to sign up for the 20 session. I told her that I’ll go to the branch (Midvalley) today for confirmation. Tapi amoi tu sangatlah tak sabar, so she came all the way from Midvalley to Cyberjaya just to get my consent (for credit card). Masuk2 je kete amoi tu, dan2 dia explain pasal pakej lain pulak…lavender package. She said for better result, I have to take this package. Maksudnye they offer me something that is NOT effective at the first place la kan? In a way, they are saying that their product is not good except the expensive one kan? They FORCE me to take the expensive package and FORCE me to take a 24 months instalment. Gile ke? By the 24^th month tah2 dah gemuk balik.

Daripada suka, terus jadi tak suka. They also ask me to increase my credit limit. GILE KAH?

Last2 I just took the coffee..itu pun mcm tak berbaloi. I bet that amoi will banned my name forever. Haha. Like I care….

Bila baca balik reviews org lain, mmg ramai yg cakap LWM ni scam. Suka paksa orang.

Nasib baik x terpedaya…kalau tak…rugi tak berlagu…

Tfk and I went to send his baju melayu for tailor today. We headed to Wisma Yakin since that is the place with lots of tailor for baju melayu. Of course, you can chose the one within your budget, mostly range from RM90 - RM125..itu untuk baju melayu kosong. If you wish to have the sulam...you need to add another RM50++...i personally doesn't really fancy a baju melayu with sulam. That is just my personal preference...so no offence. I advise Tfk to go with a normal/plain baju melayu so that he can re-use again in the future. Punyalah excited kan..awal lagi dah hantar! :)

Nampaknye abang hafiz akan buat pelamin nikah kaler pink, putih, dark pink..kesimpulannya PINK. Jadi kaler apekah yang paling sesuai for hantaran, family & friends? my first intention nk suruh family & friends pakai kaler kuning. Tp macam tak sesuai pula nanti. Jadi family pakai pink adakah ok? atau proceed je dengan kuning?

kombinasi kaler ini sebagai hantaran? cantik jugak...akan diskus dengan haida tentang ini.

So kira ok la kan kuning + pink?

oh btw, saya telah melantik haida sebagai penasihat saya. ;)

Guess im not a real blogger huh?

Malas2 hapdet.

Nak tunggu mood memang berkurun la.

Though a lot of thing happen, from puasa to raya, and now back to work. I am suppose to update about the big celebration, of how much rendang, lemang and those sinful food that I eat without guilt ( puasa sebulan kan..), of how much I spent for my kasut raya, of how much I spent for duit raya…and now, im broke. Hope I can last till the next gaji.

Had a few iftar sessions with my girls + partners + lil one. The group are expanding, badan pun expand sama…hehe..my last raya as single (feels so gedik when I say it like that), nothing much is going to change…I hope so.

Work wise, hmm…nothing much I can say, nak gaji lebih pls! insyaAllah, I’ll be joining a new team, with new job scope. Skarang tengah sibuk transfer knowledge and prepare for the upcoming audit. Huhu..my heart and brain ache thinking about the audit.

Wedding preparation is back ON! Lagi bape bulan je ni, kursus still tak pegi lagi! Huhu..i keep on pushing Tfk to register for the kursus, coz her mom keep on asking bila nk pegi kursus kawin nak oii..haha..

Kad pun dah settle, x jadi buat dengan vendor yg dulu tu…paid the deposit to abg hafiz, I put 100% trust to him..harap2 evthing turns out well. Murah je ye, 60 sen harga kad tu. J

My target now to at least lost a few (je?) kg before the big day. I don’t want to walk down the isle looking like a pregnant women…oh, need to remind Tfk too..nmpknye kitorg macam buat acara lawan perut sape paling besar…huhu..i love u just the way u are mucuk..jgn mara aa…

My brain is exhausted, what I need the most is a vacation. Eh, tp raya hari tu dah cuti lama. Hehe. Penat and excited at the same time.

Why everyone hate Monday so much?

Well, I don’t technically ‘hate’ Monday that much.

Some Monday can be pretty much ‘OK’ for me.

Time flies, without notice its already the 13^th of Ramadhan. What a bless! Still in full mode of fasting, no red flag yet. (yippie!) Alhamdulillah, so far my fasting journey have been doing good. Takdela gastric pain or whatsoever…hope to find the perfect day to break fast with my beloved palmers…agak2 dapat ke buka puasa sama2 tahun ni? Now that everyone have their own commitment, it is not easy for us to gather together. Last year we manage to break fast together remember? Masa tu fizah still in her pregnancy days..

I’ve come across this cake few time before. But I wasn’t bother to check further.

Tapi makin lama, makin banyak pulak kek2 rainbow ni…I use to bake kek pelangi for hari raya, but the colour are not as vibrant as these cakes…kek pelangi, kek dam..those are our traditional cakes…so simple and easy to bake..maybe I can bake some for this coming raya.

My weekend updates

Life is full of surprises, the news come when you least expect it.

A wonderful weekend, that can conclude of my feelings.

I received a good news, Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah. Miracle does happen, just believe in it, and pray to Allah the Almighty, sooner or later He will answer our prayer.

Saturday, we went to Nilai3 for doorgift hunting, unfortunately for me the stock is either not in the theme colour that I want, or not enough to cater the amount that I want. Sob..sob..so we end up buying VIP doorgift instead, bermulalah episode menampal dan menempek ribbon…which I hope can be done during this fasting month.

The hunt at Nilai let me down, so we opt for another option as a doorgift. Bincang punya bincang, we finally come to a decision to use my initial idea of doorgift. Part ni, lepas raya baru akan disettlekan.

I can imagine that life is going to be busy after raya, I haven’t attend the wedding course yet, itu pun lepas raya.

Just a note to myself:

Attend wedding course.
Finalized on the invitation card. – design, maps, what to write inside the card, etc..etc..
Meet Abang Hafiz, make payment, confirm on the misc…theme…hand bouquet…bantal nikah, accessories….
Buy kain for family, best friends.
Send kain to Nurul for solemnization, finalize on design.

Ariel who?

It’s my cat.

I called for Ariel yesterday, it was my daily routine to feed my cat for snack after I got back from office…slalunye diorg akan berlari2 towards me. Ariel, Blue and Putih. Tapi semalam agak pelik, coz Ariel was not around. I guess Ariel was playing somewhere else..lagi pun dia tengah gatal2 nak mengawan…

Snack..Ariel takde.

Dinner..Ariel still tak balik2…

I’m not panic yet, maybe Ariel main kat tempat lain.

This morning, still Ariel tak balik2…ok, start to worry a bit. Mana Ariel?

And then, my brother buzz me at facebook, saying that Ariel got hit by a car.

What?

This cannot be true. I know Ariel won’t play too far form our house.

He told me that the chinese lady in front of our house saw a cat got hit by a car yesterday. The description match Ariel…

My heart crush, I try not to believe that it was Ariel…my precious. My baby.

The one that make me happy, that keep my sanity, where I pour all my worries and sadness.

To some, it is just a cat. But for me, Ariel is my baby, mummy love u Ariel, rest in peace baby…

I just received a call from our wedding card vendor.

So suddenly the reality hit me that it is going to happen soon.

Macam tak percaya that I am going to get married in less than 5 months!

There was one time that I gave up on the idea of getting married.

Tapi jodoh, ajal, maut semua ketentuan yang Esa…no one know what is going to happen next.

Back to the wedding card, Tfk and I decided not to spend so much on the invitation card. Masa ada pameran pengantin dekat Midvalley hari tu, we paid a deposit sbb nk dapatkan harga promotion from this vendor. . Kiranya dapat murah 10sen from the normal price plus, free printed envelope and free transportation cost, sebab diorg ni base in Melaka.

The problem now is, I don’t know which design should I chose…takut nnt mcm tak serious or mcm kad birthday, or simple sangat pulak.

Mine was so-so..

..happy and full!

We had team dinner on Friday. I am now have more reason not to hate my job coz my best friend is now working under the same department as mine, Cuma job scope lain2 sket…but I’ll be joining her soon, once our current contract is over. Dah bosan buat keje sama for the past 2 years..i really want to learn something new like what they are doing now. Dengar cerita macam susah sbb banyak guna scripting, but it does sound interesting…

On Saturday Tfk & I went for furniture and house hunting. But we end up with a silly argument. Between Wescourt and Cavenzi, my words against him.

Not saying that I like to against his word, tp tahla..i’m thinking for the long term benefit. Seems that we both looking into things in different way. Macam clash of the titans. Lepas baca forum baru dia nk agree that the quality is not that good.. I prefer to survey first, and decide later. Unlike him, who like to settle all thing at once. Kiranya tak la pening di kemudian hari…but we still have plenty of time to decide on the furniture and I believe sale is all year long and there’s nothing for me to worry.

Let put aside the furniture thingy…

So we went for house hunting last Saturday. I wanted just a small place as a start. Somewhere that is not too far from our family (mine or his fam). The option is between his place (Damansara) or my place (Cheras). So the final decision is to find a place near my house. Of coz la setuju kan..? An apartment will do for me, senang nk jaga n kemas. J but the problem now, tak banyak apartment in Cheras kecuali dekat area Bandar Tun Razak…I prefer ke arah Kajang coz dekat dengan office. Wont be any problem for Tfk coz he’ll be travelling by motor to work.

Anyone have any suggestion?

I always wanted a pre wedding photoshoot...but, of course there is a guideline that I need to follow. Ye lah kan, kata belum sah jadi hubby and wifey, so there is some boundaries need to be set on the outcome of the pose...kene tapis2 la kiranya!

Is there any place in KL or Selangor that fit the above? and its going to need a lot of props to make it happen...

Why? Coz, the workload on Monday is more then any other day, it is a three days work, mind you. We support 7 days a week job. Therefore sabtu ahad pun kene buat keje, the only diff is, the work will be bring forward to Monday. Esok menggila la nk settlekan keje2 tu. *sigh*

won the World Cup. I don’t have any favourite for the WC, team mana yang menang, team tu la yg disokong. Tau pun sikit2 je perkembangan bola, itu pun sbb ada Waka waka competition kt opis ni. Tahniah Paul si sotong kurita, your prediction is correct. I guess it is just pure luck. Takkan la sotong kurita dapat meramal masa depan? Kan?

Last Saturday I went out for a date with my gf, Shikin..rasa mcm sekejap, tp sebenarnye lama kitorg keluar. Just makan, jalan sikit2 and makan balik. A good conversation does help to boost up the insecurity in me. All the pep talks, catching up with each others..I wonder if I still can have this privilege when the status change. Oh, how I miss our good old days in Palm.

I miss you girls! All the palm-ers. Rindu bangat. We might not be the craziest or the most popular bunch, but having each other companion is good enough as a memories that can make me smile.

One valuable thing that I learn as far I’m in this company is, nobody care about you, unless you care about yourself. It’s either you take your own effort to make it to the top, or u can just let them manipulate you. Nak tanak, kene la jugak jadi ~~bitchy~~ jahat sikit. Not my choice though, tapi terpaksa in order to survive. Truth to be told, I’m not the type of person who will do just about anything to be at the top. Okla, maybe not at top as in a Manager or Regional Manager ke ape, tp the recognition from the team, that I have pull my ass off to show that I’m good at what I do..hiks, memang la kene puji diri sendiri kan?

Being nice in the group is still not good enough. I think it is about time for me to ‘play’ their game. Ko buat boleh, aku buat pun mesti boleh. This is not about revenge. NO. Takkan semua peluang utk career progression kene tengok skin kaler kan? Eh. Ini sudah berbau perkauman. Tidak..tidak..ini sudah berbau badan.

I can say that it was a huge relieve for me coz now I can concentrate on my own w plan.

Belum pun habis kenduri abg, my relatives already ask me what my wedding theme would be. It was purple silver for abang…and I want a purple wedding too. Jadi sonang la tak payah beli baju banyak2 tahun ni. They can just recycle the purple baju kurung that they have bought for my brother's wedding.

One thing that made me so happy is I actually think that I have found the perfect wedding planner for me. He’s so nice and open for any new idea without additional charges. I got a pretty good deal for a hall decoration, custom made wedding dress, plus pelamin nikah at home. Taufik is going to freak out if I reveal the price. But I do honestly think the price that he quote me is reasonable and affordable.

I almost want to cry when he show me the sample of hall decoration in one of the magazine, and he’s willing to do it for me with the standard price and no additional charges at all!! Oh, did I mention a new custom made dress? Cuma tunjuk design, and he’s willing to do it for me. Saya sangat teruja!

After much discussion, I decided to go for a pink purple theme. So girly girl, I know. Sorry lela, you are going to be a purple bridesmaid on that day, but fret not, I will make sure its going to be the tone that you’ll like. (saya menjaga kepentingan bersama)

So sekarang tinggal photog je yang belum ada. Need to cut down the budget for photog coz budget dah agak tergelincir dari landasan, plus a few more hantaran item belum beli. Sape2 yg plan nk pegi obersea, please let me know ya. Nk pesan beli kemeja. (wah, mcm banyak duit je kan..)

I really need help with my skin.
Its getting darker, and dry at certain area but tend to be oily at some part of the face. Kalau picit hidung & dagu, memang boleh buat minyak masak. I'm like a walking oil. :-/
